Terms of use

The short version: use the site in good faith, and understand what our content is and is not. Last updated September 7, 2026.

What our content is

Family Growth Project publishes educational content: summaries of family and child development research, translated into practices families can try. It reflects research and experience, and we cite our sources.

What our content is not

Our content is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional who knows your child and your family. If you have concerns about your child's health, development, or safety, please talk to your pediatrician or a licensed professional.

Your use of the site

You are welcome to read, share links to, and quote brief excerpts of our content with attribution. Republishing whole articles, our books, or our program materials requires written permission. Please do not use the site in a way that disrupts it for others.

Purchases and programs

Program registrations and book purchases may carry their own terms, presented at the time you sign up. Where the two differ, the specific terms you accepted for that purchase apply.

Intellectual property

The Family Growth Project name, the Launch Trajectory framework, our logos, and our original content belong to Family Growth Project. The research we cite belongs to its authors and publishers, and we credit it accordingly.

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Family Growth Project is not liable for decisions made based on the content of this site. Every family and every child is different; use your judgment and your own professionals.
