Privacy policy
The plain-language version of how this site handles your information. Last updated October 9, 2026.
What we collect
If you subscribe to our newsletter or request a book or program registration, we collect the information you give us: your email address and, when you provide it, your name. That is the only personal information the site asks for. We never sell, rent, or share your information with anyone.
Our newsletter is delivered through Beehiiv, our email service provider. Your address is stored there so we can send you the letters you signed up for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from future sends immediately.
Analytics
We use PostHog to understand which pages help families most, and only if you accept cookies in the banner. If you decline, no analytics run and the site works exactly the same. Analytics data is aggregated usage information, not a profile of you as a person.
Cookies and local storage
The site stores your cookie choice in your browser so we do not ask you on every visit. If you write a Launch Story, your answers are saved only in your own browser so you can return to them; they are never sent to us or stored on our servers. Beyond that, the only cookie is PostHog's analytics cookie, set only if you accept.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom of that email.
- Change your choice at any time with the “Cookie choices” link at the bottom of every page.
- Ask us to delete your information by emailing hello@familygrowthproject.com and we will remove it from our email list and records.
Children
This site is written for parents and caregivers, and we do not collect information about children on our servers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the site is not directed to them. Tools like the Launch Story ask only for a nickname and an age range, never a child's name, birth date, or other identifying details, and what you write there stays in your own browser.
